Wildland Fires

Our Forestry branch responds to grass fires and other wildland fires.

The Forestry Truck is a key piece of equipment that responds to nearly every call. It carries a variety of tools for fighting wildland fires, including a water tank, high pressure pump and two reels of forestry hose. We also carry a special high pressure portable pump and several thousand feet of forestry hose. The truck also carries traffic control equipment and helps create a safety zone around incidents on the highway. All our vehicles carry drinking water and medical equipment.
